HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL LEADER?

Nobody tells you how to be a good leader. Nobody knows what the best way to be one of him or her is. Nobody can say this work is easy. But it is essential to win the respect of employees. When you command a team, you need to have a special temper and personality.
Managers must be a guide to subordinates doing their work as good as all of the members of the team. A good leader must set a precedent and accomplish a commitment to work. In the same way employees need to follow their leader believing that directions are the best. Leaders should recognize the skills of each subordinate and set different objectives creating a positive working atmosphere and getting a great amount of confidence. Meeting a deadline is very important to take the control of the projects and even more important is to congratulate the staff for every goal reached. In addition giving employees the freedom and the opportunities to improve their performance and careers is very crucial to motivate the staff.
To manage human resources it is necessary to build a culture of respect between managers and employees. The art of managing people requires a big effort in order to accomplish the desired goals.








I completely agree that nobody can tell you how to be a good leader. I think you already possess these skills or not. It also depends a lot on personality. If you are a very short tempered person with not much motivational skills this will effect your team. Gaining respect from your team members is one of the most important things. With no respect from your team the output of their work and attitude will follow with the same negativity.
A manager must set the bar for the rest of the team to try and achieve, along with being able to recognise each individuals strengths and weaknesses. With these areas identified for each employee, the manager can assign tasks which are most suitable to each. Also knowing a little bit about your employees allows the manager to identify what makes each employee tick and therefore can assign duties which will give them most job satisfaction.
Just as importantly the manger needs to praise their employees for tasks completed on time or done well. This will in turn make the employee feel valued within the business and in turn motivate them. Being a manager of a supermarket store when I was younger I learnt all these skills and hope to one day put them in to practice again at the web design company I am now currently working for.
